Your Faith Confession Makes Every Difference

In the Book of Numbers, Chapter 14, ten spies defeated themselves through doubt and unbelief. They did not believe God and His promises. Instead, they chose to let the giants and challenges their eyes saw overcome their belief. Notice the Lord’s strong reaction to their unbelief:

The Lord said to Moses,

“How long will these people treat me with contempt? How long will they refuse to believe in me, in spite of all the signs I have performed among them? So tell them, ‘As surely as I live, declares the Lord, I will do to you the very thing I heard you SAY: Not one of you will enter the land I swore with uplifted hand to make your home, except Caleb son of Jephunneh and Joshua son of Nun.” (Num. 14:11, 28, 30)

It’s interesting to notice that what the spies spoke is what they received from God. Ten spies said they could not take the land, so they didn’t and died in the wilderness. Two spies said they could, so they did (Caleb and Joshua).

What does God hear spoken in your home and church? Does God hear faith spoken or unbelief? What the majority around you believes is critically important to you because all 12 spies and all of the Israelites suffered for 40 years because of the majority’s unbelief and lack of faith.

Fellow Believers, I pray God finds faith in your household and congregations.

Be blessed today in Jesus’ mighty Name.
